Buy BIPOC
In March 2021, we launched an initiative centered on buying from Black brands. Post-March, we’re expanding it to include all those who identify as BIPOC, and those in the AAPI community.
The purpose of this is to be intentional and thoughtful about what we consume and who our dollars are supporting. We can tip the scales of economic justice with our own everyday spending power.
Beyond supporting BIPOC and AAPI communities, this is an opportunity for brand discovery and an assessment of our own personal economic choice and responsibility.
We wanted to see how far we could take this, from small purchases to large. Ran out of vitamins? Seek out a Black-owned supplement company. Furnishing your apartment? Check out Jungalow. Stocking your pantry? Partake cookies are sold at Trader Joe's and Target.
